His real name is Super Sam. But goes by Sam. Sam is a border-collie mix, and about 3 years old. He DOES NOT LIKE CATS!!! When you first see Sam he looks like he has been pumping iron or taking steroids! He has something like what the fainting goats have. It happens, when he gets excited, scared, or startled -- the Adrenalin that gets produced doesn't get processed right. Instead of having the natural reaction of barking or running, the adrenalin goes to his muscles and makes him tense up and fall down. In all reality it is a neurological issue that cannot be fixed. It doesn't hurt although it looks painful and is rather sad to watch. He pops out of it all rather quickly. It is said to look like a mini seizure, but it's not.
He came in with Rocky, but can be adopted separately. He gets along fine with other dogs, but probably would be best an "only child" where someone is willing to love him and care for him with his condition. Contact Harriet,
